LI1In the Material Handoff Handshake State Model, relationship between the state Sf00 to Sf09 and the signals ST0 to STcomp is not aligned and causes a lot of misinterpretations. Also, Pause Takeover sequence for Slave Port is not specified in PAUSE sequence.Passed as balloted
LI2Byte order on communication line is not specified precisely but recommended as endian, and it causes mismatch between different equipment suppliers.Failed and to be returned to the task force
LI3In the sequence of Mode Resolution, the validation timing of received Material Data is not specified.Passed as balloted
LI4There is a miss-definition of trigger signal state in Table 13.Passed as balloted

Special Announcements of the Committee (Workshops, Programs, etc.)
The Transformation of “Global PV Automation Technical Committee” to “Global Automation Technology Technical Committee” has been proposed by Global PV Automation Technical Committee Co-chairs.
    • This is a proposal to transform “Global PV Automation Technical Committee” to “Global Automation Technology (AT) Technical Committee” for more effective activities and better continuity of SEMI Standards.
    • Currently, participation to PV Automation Technical Committee is really low as the PV industry is not good, in addition, the automation technology is not so PV specific.
    • As the Standards developed by the committee are very generic, they have been under considerations of applications to other industries such as food or battery.
    • To ensure the continuity of SEMI Standards activity in this area, Japan and EU Chapters of “Global PV Automation Technical Committee” decided to transform the committee as “Global Automation Technology Technical Committee” which covers generic automation technologies.
    • Note: Accomplishment of this proposal should be finalized by ISC approval in July 2014.

Next Meeting
The Japan Chapter of Automation Technology TC, if it is approved by ISC, will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 13:30-17:00 at SEMI Japan office, Tokyo, Japan
