This Document describes the EDA Standards freeze versions. An “EDA Freeze Version” is a specific set of the SEMI Standards that work together; as defined in E132.1. It helps EDA implementers to understand the EDA requirements and to facilitate interoperability between client and equipment implementations.

Today there are two internationally recognized EDA freeze versions. This Document will explain the 1105 freeze version and the 0710 freeze version. The intent is to coordinate with the definitions in E132.1 and to expand upon them.
