SEMI New Activity Report Form (SNARF)

Activity Number: 5053
SNARF for: Auxilary Information for Interlaboratory Study Results For Determining the Precision of SEMI PV1

Originating Global Technical Committee: Photovoltaic
Originating Technical Committee Region: North America
Task Force in which work is to be carried out: International PV Analytical Test Methods Task Force

1. Rationale: The completion of an Interlaboratory Study (ILS) for SEMI PV-1 “Test Method for Measuring Trace Elements in Silicon Feedstock for Silicon Solar Cells by High-Mass Resolution Glow Discharge Mass Spectrometry (GDMS)” needs a means to archive a SEMI Research Report with all data, and which can be referenced in PV-1. At the San Francisco July 2010 meeting of the N.A. PV Technical Committee it was decided that this can be accomplished by publishing the ILS Research Report as a SEMI AUX document. This AUX document will be distributed 30 days before the Dresden, October 2010, EU PV meeting, and submitted for approval by the Technical Committee in Dresden.
