1. Charter:

Develop standards to ensure computer and device security both inside and outside of the fab, including protection of computer systems from theft or damage to their hardware, software, or electronic data as well as misdirection of services they provide.

2. Scope:
(Define the specific activities that the TF will conduct.)
To develop computer and device security standards with input from the device makers, equipment suppliers, and software vendors. The Task Force will initially focus on establishing:
• Definitions and metrics for information and operation security;
• Standards to ensure computer security in the fab through the full life-cycle of new and existing equipment, devices, and software;
• Standards for high-speed monitoring, control and management of equipment, devices, and factory computer security, to provide improved security management and control capabilities.
