1. Rationale: Quasi-monocrystalline Silicon , also called mono-like wafer,casting mono wafer or quasi wafer, etc. is a new product used in PV industry. This is a different product from single-crystalline or multi-crystalline silicon wafer, not only the appearance, also the electrical property are all different. (See the attachment)

Upon researching, no standard has been created in this subject, which caused diversification in product quality. Through summarizing the requirements from several solar cell enterprises and combining technical requirements to build a standard of mono-like wafer, a good basis of processing, manufacturing, and sales of mono-like wafers can be provided.
