1. Charter: (State the objective of the proposed TF.)
This task force will develop the standards and measurement methods for the determination of orientations of sapphire single crystal products to enhance the consistency in measurement data and to provide the solutions for increasing measurement precision as well. These standards and methods will undoubtedly facilitate the sapphire single crystal product processing, delivery and improve quality among sapphire crystal manufacturers, traders, and end-users worldwide.

1) New standard on method for determination of orientation for sapphire single crystals
