CMP slurry manufacturers provide Particle Size Abrasive information based on limited Particle Size Distribution (PSD) parameters, which are obtained using various metrologies and tested in different analytical conditions.
Currently, information related to PSD metrologies and analytical test conditions usually are not reported on the Certificate of Analysis (CoA).
A guide needs to be instituted to address these industry gaps.
