Revised (if Applicable):

Name of Task Force (TF): Equipment Training and Documentation Task Force

Global Technical Committee: Metrics
Originating Technical Committee Region: North America

1. Charter: (State the objective of the proposed TF.)
Advancement and adoption of personnel performance improvement technology; user documentation development and delivery methodologies; best practices applied to enterprises and individuals involved with training; developing manufacturing and field procedures; facilitating, supporting and developing the semiconductor and related technologies (e.g., PV, FPD, MEMS) process, maintenance and engineering workforce. Task Force (TF) will focus on “reducing time to performance” for equipment technicians, operators/manufacturing, and process/equipment engineers. In addition to streamlining the critical path for optimum equipment performance as measured by RAM (reliability, availability, maintainability), this TF will establish protocols for cost-efficient excellence in designing, developing, and delivering product user documentation and education across multiple platforms for advanced technology.

NOTE: The result of approving this TFOF will be to consolidate the existing Equipment Training TF and the currently inactive Equipment Documentation TF.

2. Scope: (Define the specific activities that the TF will conduct.)
To define recommended minimum requirements for:
Blended Learning
Product user documentation – both Field and Factory
Performance based equipment training
Identification and certification of personnel performance skill levels
Evaluating performance improvement
Electronic learning interfaces and electronic learning management
Content development and delivery standards and methodologies
Tools and methodologies for equipment and process simulation
Training materials and methodologies

3. Formal linkages with TFs in other Regions/Locales: (Show each associated TF and its parent global technical committee; indicate nature of relationship – global TF, observer TF, etc.)

4. Formation Date:(TF formed on)
