1. Charter:

The objective is to define and elaborate several standards to unify PV-wafer traceability from the sliced wafer (cut from the ingot) to the end of PV cell life-cycle including recycling of used modules.

2. Scope:
(Define the specific activities that the TF will conduct.)
The activities of the task force will result in the development of several industry standards where equipment suppliers , cell manufacturers and other involved parties can find conformity , in any technical field of PV wafer traceability The task force intents to treat the following technical fields:
Initial work will focus on
- Define applicable wafer size type (Size)
- Format of mark
Future works may include:
- Etalon for marker and reader equipments
- IT Interface
- Investigation of anti-counterfeiting possibilities
- Recycling related issues
- Application guides for PV wafer traceability
