1. Rationale: To enable optimization of manufacturing process, quality and yield in HB-LED industry a higher integration level of process-, automation- and metrology equipment is required into fab automation environment in future. Therefore a definition of an IT equipment communication interface standard is required for the equipment used in HB LED industry.
