1. Charter: (State the objective of the proposed TF.)

Globally maintain PI&C Standards which do not have dedicated TF, based on feedbacks from industry.
Background: 300mm PI&C SEMI Standards has been in an implementation phase. It is essential for standards committee to suppress variations due to various approaches of feedbacks of the know-how from various applications. Thus, a TF in charge of these maintenances is needed.

2. Scope: (Define the specific activities that the TF will conduct.)

-Work on the maintenance issues such as;
Solve contradictions among standards
Improvement of readability to prevent misreading
Improvement of cross reference capability
Maintenance of Overview documents

-Work on creating a consolidated document containing all PIC related terminology.

-Study a proposal raised from other regions and;
If it is a maintenance issue, then take liaison activities,
If it is a new business, then propose new activity to Japan PI&C committee, NA PI&C committee, and/or EU Equipment Automation Committee.

-Work on five years review.
