TASK FORCE ORGANIZATION FORM (TFOF)
Date Prepared: 09/01/2020
Revised (if Applicable):

Name of Task Force (TF): FHE System for Wearable Task Force

Global Technical Committee: Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE)
Originating Technical Committee Region: Taiwan

1. Charter: (State the objective of the proposed TF.)
Align with FHE TC charter to explore, evaluate, discuss, and create consensus based FHE standards pertaining to wearable applications, covering design rule, manufacture flow, test verification methods, specifications, guidelines, and practices that, through voluntary compliance, will promote mutual understanding and improve communications between users and suppliers of FHE integrated systems, components, materials, and testing capabilities as well as enhance the design correctness and capability so as to improve the manufacturing efficiency and capability.
Currently, there is no FHE system design and test verification standard established for wearable applications. The FHE supply chain proposes to first work on FHE system structure, design rule and test verification methodology related areas. It will be helpful to guide the FHE industry to establish system integration technology and a complete FHE supply chain to address the needs of FHE systems on wearable.
The task force will include experts from two areas. One focuses on system design; while the other focuses more on performance verification test.

2. Scope: (Define the specific activities that the TF will conduct.)
The scope of this FHE task force will aim to explore and develop standards that pertain to common criteria, guidelines, methods for design and test verification of FHE systems, components, materials, production equipment, and performance specification. It will seek to support the supply chain needs for improving FHE product / process yield and quality for wearable applications.
This task force will be set up to develop standards for FHE on wearable applications which could be applied to apparel products for sports/fitness and non-apparel products like bedsheet, blanket, carpet…etc.
